91 Supreme THCa Crystalline
91 Supreme’s THCa Crystalline is initially created from de-waxed BHO or Butane Hash Oil. After an extraction process, THCa content is seperated from terpenes and other compounds, which eventually isolates into a crystalline form of THCa, or almost virtually 100% pure THCa.

What Is THCa
THCa, scientifically known as Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid, is a compound naturally found in live, or un-processed cannabis. Although research surrounding THCa is relatively obscure, preliminary findings and the understanding of cannabinoids suggests that THCa has the potential to display enormous therapeutic properties and anti-inflammatory effects and it is quickly taking over the cannabis industry. This compound, not to be confused with Delta-9-THC or more commonly known as THC, is non-psychoactive. Over time, THCa naturally converts into THC but when burned, or heated at a specific temperature, the process is quickly accelerated and THCa converts into Delta-9-THC, thus becoming psychoactive once again.
What Are the Benefits of THCa
Certain acidic cannabinoids, not limited to Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid, are known to hold certain properties which strengthen cannabis’ natural medicinal effects. Preliminary studies done on THCa have revealed that it contains many beneficial properties:
- Acidic cannabinoids are known to contain the highest concentration of COX-1 and COX-2 inhibition within their compounds, which contributes to the anti-inflammatory effects of cannabis.
- Studies done on Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid have demonstrated its neuroprotective properties. Data analyses show that THCA cannabinoids are able to “protect dopaminergic neurons against MPP(+) induced cell death,” meaning it has potential to be used for the treatment of neurogenerative diseases.
- The Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology or JPP released a study displaying anti-emetic properties which could be useful for the treatment of nausea and appetite loss
THCa, much like Delta-9-THC, is efficient for the medicinal treatment of insomnia, muscle spasms and general pain. While we do not have all the definitive, substantiating evidence to understand where, or how THCa can be specifically used in cannabis-based pharmaceuticals or medicines, we do know that it does display medicinal benefits.
How To Consume THCa
THCa has many avenues for consumption. If consumed raw, THCa is non-psychoactive, and can be used solely for its therapeutic benefits without the feeling of being high. Digesting higher concentrations of THCa accelerates the balance of the endocannabinoid deficiencies within the human body, which often times are potential precursors for other debilitating medical conditions. If you are a fan of the psychoactive effects of cannabis and being high while medicating, dabbing, smoking, or vaping THCa is highly recommended.
